On the first day of the Labor Day holiday in China, the booming travel market has fueled a surge in dining consumption.

According to the latest data released by MEITUAN-W (03690.HK), as of around 1 pm on the same day, the platform saw a peak in online dine-in orders, marking a 73% YoY spike. Snack foods, fast food, and beverages were the most in-demand categories.
