HKO Predicts Low Pressure Area to Enter HK’s 800 km Range Tonight, T1 to be Issued

The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) announced that the area of low pressure over Luzon will enter the South China Sea and intensify into a tropical cyclone. It is expected to enter within 800 kilometres of Hong Kong tonight. The Observatory will issue the Standby Signal, No. 1 by then.
