CN Sep Production of Power & Other Batteries Soars 35.4% YoY

In September, the combined production of power and other batteries in China in terms of production and installation reached 151.2 GWh, up 8.3% MoM or 35.4% YoY, according to the latest monthly information on power batteries released by the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance. The cumulative production for 1-3Q25 amounted to 1,121.9 GWh, marking a cumulative YoY increase of 51.4%, while the installation volume of power batteries in September grew by 21.6% MoM or 39.5% YoY to 76.0 GWh.
